Welcome to our Web site!

Why this website exists:

Having had long conversations with a few family members, I felt the need to piece together the history and genealogy of the Aliotti family. It's not a large family by any means, and we have managed to trace back to the 11th Century our roots. There aren't many of us left, but in doing the research, some of us have found a wealth of amazing history leading back to the 8th century, crossing continents from Tuscany, Italy, to the island of Chios, to Ismir, Turkey, to Rhodes, back to Rome, down to Australia, over to Alexandria, Egypt, and most now settling in Italy, France, Switzerland, Australia and the U.S.A. There is another lineage which settled in Sicily and we are wishing to see where that is associated in the Tree.

I hope you visit all the areas of this site including Events (yes there are some happenings coming up), Read and Post your own Discussions, check out the Photo Albums of family pics, Family Trees and articles, see who else is on-line and have a live Chat, Invite other family members to join and that way we can become a global family... again. Our research can only continue with the help of all of you.

All the best,

Gilli Aliotti
